「AERA」の3月3日号に、渋谷宇田川町のレコード屋が音楽ダウンロードの普及によって衰退した、と紹介する記事が掲載されているけれど、レコード屋が衰退したのはクラブ・ブーム＝DJブームが完全に終わったからだと思う。音楽業界の知人の話によるとクラブの客は減り続けていて（特にテクノは一番落ち込んでいるらしい）、若いDJもめっきり少なくなったんだとか。そのうちDJの高齢化問題が真剣に論じられる日がくるかもしれない。いまの10代はDJの代わりにお笑いを目指してるんじゃないのかな。
